Three Fulani herdsmen who decided to abandon their trade of tending their cows and instead pursue a life of crime, have been arrested the police in Sabo area of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, for armed robbery. The suspects, Haruna Ibrahim, Usman Burani and Haruna Usman, according to the state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, were arrested while robbing commuters and other road users on Igboora and Ayetoro roads of the state.

In what can be seen as a funny excuse for committing a crime, a 29-year-old clearing and forwarding agent whose name was given as Uchenna, it was his wife's fault that he raped a 7-year-old girl who lives in the same compound with his family.The incident which happened at the Afromedia area of Okokomaiko, Lagos State, has seen Uchenna who is being detained by the Okoko Police Station, blaming his wife for his misdemeanor. According to the Sun Newspaper, the Abia State born Uchenna said that his wife bewitched him into committing the atrocious crime.

BOKO HARAM: CHADIAN SOLDIERS KILL 13 TERRORIST IN BORNO

Chadian soldiers have reportedly killed 13 Boko Haram members in Borno State. The terrorists launched an attack on Gamboru, a town on the border with Cameroon, but were repelled by the soldiers, Reuters reports. One Chadian soldier was also reportedly killed in the attack, which occurred early on Wednesday, February 11, “We were waiting. The battle didn't last long.
