Fast-rising British Nigerian Pop artist and musician SONA – real name Daniel Emifeoluwa – has wrongfully been accused and convicted of a robbery crime he did not commit. The heinous crime was committed on October 18, 2013 (last year) by former semi-professional footballer Rishi Nankani, and the robbery victim picked Nankani out from an identity parade (police lineup), to confirm this. Sona was not involved in the robbery and has only been dragged into this because he was spotted with Nankani later on at a shopping centre, hours after the robbery.

British-born terrorist, Samantha Lewthwaite aka "White Widow" has reportedly been shot dead

A notorious female terrorist, known popularly as the “White Widow” has reportedly been shot dead. British-born Samantha Lewthwaite was said to have been gunned down two weeks ago by a Russian sniper in Ukraine. Moscow news agency, Regnum reports: “One of the world's most wanted terrorists Samantha Lewthwaite who fought as part of a Ukrainian battalion has been killed by a volunteer sniper.”

This rogue officer stole over N20m from the police authorities

A police officer who was dismissed from service years ago, Victor Banor, has baffled the police authorities on how he managed to impersonate four Commissioners of Police and in the process, collect salaries in 15 police formations totalling about N20 million.

That is the puzzle the Zone 2 Police Command in Lagos, is trying to solve in a case handled by a Federal High Court in Lagos. The police equally alleged that Banor, who was serving at the Umunede Police Division in Delta State, was dismissed from the Force in 2011 for allegedly stealing an exhibit vehicle in a criminal case under investigation.

Terzoo Ugoo has found himself in jail for raping a mad woman

For Terzoo Ugoo, a 20-year-old man in Makurdi, Benue State, his lust and lack of control of his libido, has landed him in jail, where he will remain till December 4, 2014, when final judgement will be decided on his case. Terzoo was dragged to a Makurdi Magistrate Court for allegedly raping a mentally ill woman.

A 22-year-old woman was diagnosed with HIV after having her nails done using shared manicure equipment. Doctors say the case, detailed in a medical journal, has revealed a new form of transmission for the virus. However the researchers warned that transmission through shared manicure equipment is a 'very rare event' and the risks of infection from new sources are still very low.
