B’ HARAM OVERRUNS MILITARY BASE IN BORNO
Boko Haram militants on Saturday launched fresh attacks on some communities in Borno and Yobe states, killing scores of people, including children. STOP LOOSING 400,000 BARRELS OF OIL PER DAY - FASHOLA TELLS FG
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, at the weekend, asked the federal government to stop losing 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day, which he said, could earn the country nearly $7.8 billion per annum at $50 per barrel. JONATHAN LOSES YOUNGER SISTER
President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday announced the passing away of his younger sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei. She passed away day at a hospital in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, after a brief illness. The deceased, according to a statement by presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, was 52.
