The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspected burglars for allegedly breaking into a gold store in Ikeja, Lagos, and stealing pieces of gold valued over N23m.

SOURCE learnt that the suspects ─ Moses Obande, Ogbulaja Ogaba and Izuchukwu Ezeobi ─ allegedly burgled the gold store situated on Unity Road, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos, and escaped with the precious material.

CONSTRUCTION WORKER IN COURT FOR RAPING A 13-YR-OLD

The police have arraigned a 29-year-old construction worker, Prince Isioma, before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl.

The police said the incident happened on the Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos State.

It was learnt that the victim, who lived in the same compound with the defendant, was staying with her sister.

Nobody was around on the fateful day, when Isioma allegedly lured the victim into his room and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

A high-tension cable fell on a house and electrocuted a woman and her younger sister on Tuesday morning at Olumokun Street, in the Amukoko area of Lagos.

SOURCE learnt that the cable fell on the residence at about 3am, and subsequently sparked fire, which made many of its occupants to flee for safety.
