US ACADEMY ADOPTS 10 CHIBOK GIRLS WITH N50.4M SCHOLARSHIPS

Ten of the abducted Chibok Girls who escaped from Boko Haram insurgents have found a new home at a US Academy, Canyonville Christian Academy (CCA) in Canyonville, Oregon. CCA announced that the it will take care of the girls travel costs, living expenses, and full scholarships at an estimated $300,000 (approximately 50.4 millions naira).

It was a tale of tears and sorrow as a 15-year-old boy was killed in a kerosene explosion that occurred on Thursday in Benin, the Edo State capital. The incident which took place in the Textile Mill area of the city, also affected a woman, Loveth Odeh and her 5-year-old son whose name was given as Wisdom, as they suffered several degrees of burns from the fire that followed the explosion and are being treated at the Benin Central Hospital.
