US ACADEMY ADOPTS 10 CHIBOK GIRLS WITH N50.4M SCHOLARSHIPS

Ten of the abducted Chibok Girls who escaped from Boko Haram insurgents have found a new home at a US Academy, Canyonville Christian Academy (CCA) in Canyonville, Oregon. CCA announced that the it will take care of the girls travel costs, living expenses, and full scholarships at an estimated $300,000 (approximately 50.4 millions naira).
President of CCA, Doug Wead, confirmed the plans in a Virtual Strategy Magazine report.

“These are some of the very lucky girls who have found their way to safety after unimaginable horror," Wead said.
One of the girls (unnamed) has already arrived at the institution.
Student Pulse gathered that Wead and cheering CCA students welcomed her at the Eugene Oregon airport with a large banner.
The Chibok girl later attended a welcoming ceremony where students from all over the the world read letters of welcome.
She has also met with Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky.
It will be recalled that nearly 300 teenage girls were abducted by Boko Haram insurgents from their dormitories in April 2014.
Aside the few that escaped, the girls are still in the terrorists' custody despite the worldwide #BringBackOurGirls outcry.
