NIGERIAN MAN ON TRIAL IN DUBAI FOR STEALING MEMORY CARD
A 22-year-old Nigerian man has been arragned before a Dubai Criminal Court for breaking into a mobile phone shop and stealing more than Dh127,567 (N5,688,977) worth of memory cards. The unemployed man appeared before the court on Tuesday, 23 September, where he confessed to stealing 8,312 memory cards.

HOMOSEXUALS, OTHERS RECORD HIGHEST HIV/AIDs INFECTION IN NIGERIA – SURVEY
Homosexuals and commercial sex workers top the table of people living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, a survey has revealed. The study known as the Integrated Biological and Behavioural Surveillance Survey came under the auspices of the National AIDs and Sexually Transmitted Infections Control Programme.
According to the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, about 3.4 million Nigerians were living with HIV/AIDS in 2012.More current figures are still being awaited.
GUNMEN ATTACK LOVERS ROMANCING INSIDE CAR
Two suspected car snatchers, who were paraded by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, said they snatched a Honda Accord while the owner was romancing a woman in the vehicle.

MAN NEEDS N7.6M FOR KIDNEY TRANSPLANT
Forty-four-year old, Akeem Olajide, diagnosed with kidney failure, says he needs N7.6m to enable him to undergo a surgery in India.
Doctors at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, confirmed the failure of Olajide’s two kidneys, declaring that he would need a renal transplant to survive.
According to the doctors, his condition at present shows that dialysis will no longer sustain him and so he needs an urgent kidney transplant in India.

A 60-year-old man has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly defiling a nine-year-old girl at Ugbor quarters in Benin.
