COUPLE KILLED ON EVE OF WEDDIG DAY

A couple, who were set to get married on Saturday, 6 September were reportedly shot dead by gunmen on Friday, 5 September, barely 24 hours before they were to be joined in holy matrimony.

The unidentified pair were killed alongside three others at a gas station around the Trans-Ekulu on the Enugu – Onitsha Expressway, on Friday night.

Some policemen on Sunday afternoon along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway beat up a commercial bus driver and his conductor for failure to part with some amount of money as “settlement” for alleged traffic offences.

The incident occurred at Agric bus stop, where the driver of a 14-seater commercial bus, marked, (LAGOS) GGE 554 XK, stopped to pick up passengers.

ROBBER GAVE GIRLFRIEND BLOOD COVERED STOLEN NECKLACE

A robber gave his girlfriend a gold necklace he had stolen in a violent robbery, which was still stained with the BLOOD of his victim.

Ryan Meek, 29, and Dean Partridge, 32, attacked Ross Harrison in August this year, taking a gold necklace from his neck.

But when police went to arrest Meek they found his girlfriend wearing a similar piece of jewellery, WalesOnline reports.

According to punch.ng The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Adeniji Adele, Lagos, has arrested a gang of robbers who operate in Lagos and neighbouring states under the guise of working as commercial drivers.
