She puts her body through its paces filming scenes as secret agent Kate Morgan in action thriller 24: Live Another Day. But the hard yards appear to have paid off for Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski who stuns in a photo shoot for the January issue of GQ magazine. The 32-year-old beauty takes the plunge as she strips down to a daring one piece swimsuit that leaves little to the imagination in one of the shots.Propping herself up against a weather-beaten wall, the blonde bombshell tenses her taut tummy
and arms to hold herself suspended in the air. She points her stiletto clad feet as she gazes slightly over the camera with a look of steady determination. Yvonne's long locks are slicked back into a sleek, wet-look style and her makeup is left dewy and understated. Another image sees the statuesque stunner change into a black bikini top with a zip running up the centre and matching pair of bottoms. She completes the look with an unbuttoned blazer rolled up at the sleeves. The Sydney-born Dexter star revealed in her accompanying interview with the publication that she was advised to swap her mouthful of a surname for something that rolls off the tongue more easily upon arriving in LA nearly a decade ago. It was suggested that she change her name from Strzechowski to Stryker, but Yvonne wasn't having any of it. 'Look, at the end of the day it was my call, and I understood the reasoning behind it – the spelling of my name is a mouthful of letters.
'So I have the same last name – but now it's spelled phonetically, so people know how to pronounce it,' she explained. The uncommon surname is Polish, after the beauty's parents moved from Europe to Western Sydney before she was born.
