Renowned luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini have launched their very first fragrance.
Called simply ‘L1’ the scent, which is revealed as the first in a collection of four, will set you back almost £300 a bottle.
And while its £290 price tag may be a fraction of the cost of the new Lamborghini Huracan at around £188,000, it's sure to make the average perfume shopper a bit sniffy.
The £290 perfume has top notes of lime and ginger and a base of incense, white musk and tobacco
L1 comes in an Alcantara carrying case created in Italy, inspired by a car tool pouch, containing two refills
L1, created by a team of master perfumers from Intertrade Group, is said to contain ‘rare ingredients’ to create ‘lasting deep notes: and a complex, unique and highly intriguing mix’.
The scent has top notes of lime, ginger, cardamom and pink pepper and a base including incense, styrax, white musk accord, and tobacco.
Only 999 bottles of the limited edition scent have been made to launch the Huracan LP 610-4 at Geneva.
Only 999 bottles of the scent, which is Lamborghini's first ever, have been made to celebrate the latest car
For those willing to splash out on the smell of a supercar the perfume comes in an aluminium tube, brushed by hand and covered in black leather.
Its Alcantara carrying case, created in Italy, is inspired by a car tool pouch so you can pretend that you have the wheels to go with it and the set also contains two glass 25 ml refills of the extrait de parfum.
L1 will be sold at high-end department store Fortnum and Mason, where three more Lamborghini fragrances will be launched in October this year.
