Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko will, on Thursday, August 14, 2014, collapse his political structure, ‘Iroko Frontiers,’ for a new structure to support President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election in 2015.

Speaking with LEADERSHIP in Abuja on Sunday, the National Coordinator of the new political structure, ‘Believe Nigeria, Trust Goodluck,’ Mr Idris Usman, said the vision of the political group was born out of Mimiko’s commitment to the promotion of good governance and visionary leadership.
According to Usman, Governor Mimiko has invested so much in building the structure which is aimed at raising future leaders who can steer the leadership of the Nigerian state towards sustainable growth and development.
“Believe Nigeria, Trust Goodluck’ will be officially inaugurated by Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko in support of President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election campaign on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
“It is not surprising though that Mimiko is in the Labour Party, he is throwing his political weight behind a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party. The governor is doing this because of his commitment to good governance and the Nigeria project,” Usman said.
The national coordinator further disclosed that ‘Believe Nigeria, Trust Goodluck’ would, after its inauguration this Thursday, swing into action through nationwide mobilisation, seminars, symposiums and townhall meetings.
Usman also noted that Mimiko would, however, oversee the activities of the group to ensure Jonathan’s re-election
