4 PERSONS ARRESTED FOR ROBBING PASTOR AND RAPING HIS DAUGHTER

The Oyo State Police Command said it has arrested a 55-year-old suspected robber-rapist, identified as Ayodele Ademola and three others – Afolabi Oluwatobi (24), Morakinyo Olufemi (43) and Azeez Rafiu (27) – for allegedly robbing a pastor and raping one of his daughters.
While parading the suspects at the police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan on Thursday,
the command’s deputy commissioner of police, Sam Okalua, said the suspects had gained access into a pastor’s compound through the fence and deprived him of his belongings.
One of the suspects was said to have raped one of the pastor’s daughters after they were done stealing.
According to him, the suspects had ordered the pastor to open his door. After he complied, the three men entered his sitting room while one was standing outside with the gun.
“They ordered everyone in the house to lie down and close their eyes while they ransacked all the rooms in the house and carted away goods,” Okalua said.
Okalua also listed the items taken by the suspected robbers at gun-point to include; a Sony laptop, Samsung iPad, Apple iPad, three smart phones, a Toyota Corolla with registration number MK 382 AAA, a Mercedes Benz with number GGE 278 CK, six classic wrist watches, the sum of N200,000 and other valuables.
According to Okalua, upon being noticed by passers-by who suspected their attitude, the suspected robbers took to flight. However, when the police were informed, they swung into action and after thorough investigation; the suspects were arrested in turns.
