A 36-year-old man, Michael Odogwu, who allegedly stole a chicken valued at N2,500, on Monday appeared before a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.The accused, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of stealing and threat to life.

A man, suspected to have attempted stealing diesel from a compound, died on Monday morning after he was electrocuted by an electric barbed fence.,source learnt that the suspect, Mr. John Aboy, was killed on Dagin Farouk Road, Jos, Plateau State. The incident was said to have taken place at about 3am., Our correspondent gathered that three suspected diesel thieves had come around the building to perpetrate the act, and Aboy had led the way by attempting to climb over the fence first.
