President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday announced the passing away of his younger sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei. She passed away day at a hospital in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, after a brief illness. The deceased, according to a statement by presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, was 52. Burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
