She always comes across as a fun yet feisty character on and off the tennis turf. And as the new TV advertisement for Berlei hit TV screens on Monday, Serena Williams, who is currently Down Under for the Australian Open, looked and sounded every inch the sporting superstar. The ad kicks off with the tennis champ showing off her six pack, standing in a black leather skirt with a black and white Berlei bra, as she smashes a tennis ball on the floor and says sternly: ‘Bounce.’Then in another bra, this time a colourful
number with purple trim, Serena juggles footballs and says: ‘However you like to move ladies, there’s two things that shouldn’t. 'Change the game, choose Berlei.’A Berlie voice over woman can then be heard announcing: ‘Proven to reduce bounce by up to 60 percent.’ But it's Serena who has the final word saying:
‘Now I control what bounces around here,’ as she’s seen clicking her fingers in a third bra top, this time red and cream, as the six girls in the background jump to her beat. She recently caused a stir at the Hopman Cup tournament in Perth when she triumphed against Italy's Flavia Pennetta....after ordering a coffee on court mid-match. And while Serena explained her actions in a Tweet saying that she is a 'normal, average human being' the world No female 1 tennis champion certainly looks anything but ordinary in these latest Berlei bra campaign. In shots released earlier this month, Serena can be seen confidently bouncing a tennis ball in one hand as she shows off her amazing abs wearing a supportive bra along with a black and white skirt. The 33-year-old shows off a perfect mix of style and sportiness as she accessorises the look with red manicured nails, while her hair is pulled back into an up-do for the new Berlei shoot, which took place recently in Miami.
In another pic Serena can be seen in a pair of full-length grey sports leggings and pretty orange bra as she clicks her fingers and shows off her impressive arm muscles. Speaking about her involvement with Berlei, Serena said, ‘My mom first discovered Berlei while on a trip to Australia almost 10 years ago and I have been wearing their bras ever since – for every tennis match without fail.
‘So when the brand approached me to work with them on their latest campaign for 2015, I jumped at the chance.
‘I had such a great time shooting my very first TV commercial for the brand, it’s such an exciting campaign that I’m very proud to be part of.’
