Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has unveiled her own charity foundation to be known as the Tonto Dikeh Foundation. The charitable organisation was unveiled at a press parley on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, with the Rivers State-born actress disclosing that she had waited for the day to come with building excitement. Tonto explained that her foundation would cater for abused women in the society and those saddled with unwanted pregnancies as a result of molestation/rape as well as motherless children. ‘Today is a beautiful day for me, today is the official kick-off of the Tonto Dikeh Foundation,’ she said. The press parley for the launch of the foundation held at Citadel De Continental Suites in Ikeja on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 and speaking further, Tonto said: ‘The Tonto Dikeh Foundation is a non-profit organisation, which carters for abused women, unwanted pregnancy as a result of molestation/rape etc and motherless children all around the world. We’re coming with a special package and are passionate about this. I have teamed up with hospitals, clinics, different charity organisations, churches, mosques, well-meaning personalities in the society and government, and I believe together we can save souls.’...
