MAIDUGURI BOMBING UPDATE: 10 FEARED DEAD IN BLAST

An explosion (not pictured) which occurred on Monday, December 1, in a market in Maiduguri, Borno State has reportedly claimed 10 lives

Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up in the Monday market while they were about to be searched by an operative of local vigilante, Civilian Joint Task Force (Civilian JTF). The spokesperson for the state police force, Gideon Jibrin told AFP:

“Two female suicide bombers detonated an explosive in Monday market in two different locations killing more than 10, and injured many.”
A witness, Goni Abba also said:
“I counted 10 dead bodies and over 20 others have injuries.”
