Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson officially wed in New Orleans over the weekend, People reports. The intimate ceremony was held in front of 200 family and friends at the Marigny Opera House. The newlyweds arrived riding on two white vintage bicycles, the bride’s basket adorned with a bouquet of white roses.
The 28-year-old singer has been dating Ferguson, 51, for several years, telling BAZAAR in April, "Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago. My love life has been stable for a while, it's a f*cked-up thing—without conflict it's a lot harder to write interesting songs."
As for the bride and groom’s arrival ensembles, Solange paired a cream jumpsuit and cape draped over her shoulders with a bold red lip (she later changed into a caped gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo). The groom coordinated in a white suit without a tie. The bride's sister Beyonce, was in attendance with husband Jay Z and baby Blue Ivy—all of whom also donned white for the occasion.
