HOW REGULAR LISTENER WON PLOT OF LAND AT NAIJA FM COMEDY JAM

Lagos stood still on Friday, October 31, 2014 as Nigeria’s foremost pidgin radio station, Naija FM 102.7 hosted the 3rd edition of its annual comedy awards held at the Muson Centre in Lagos Island. Awards were also handed over to comedians earlier nominated for various categories including ‘Comedian of the year’, ‘Comedy Actor of the year’, ‘Sitcom of the year’, ‘Comedy Event of the year’, ‘Comedy TV show of the year’, ‘Upcoming comedian of the year’ and ‘Internet Comedy Sensation of the year’. Comedian of the Year award winner, Akpororo commended Naija FM expressed delight at winning the award and commended the station for improving on last year’s event. ‘I am happy and grateful to God for giving me this award again, this is my fourth plaque this year! This award especially can be described as the Champions League of Comedy Plaques! I’m truly happy…Naija fm is growing.’ Among highlights of the event was the Naija FM Comedy Jam raffle draw, which saw the star prize of a government-approved plot of land with Certificate of Occupancy won by Mr. Yusuf Sanusi, a regular listener to the station....
