AUSTRALIAN BATMAN: PHIL HUGHES IS THE SEVENTH CRICKETER TO DIE WHILE PLAYING

Phil Hughes fell face first to the ground after a ball from bowler Sean Abbott hit him on the base of the skull on Tuesday, he was confirmed dead two days later
PHILLIP HUGHES was hit on the base of the skull in a domestic club Sheffield Shield on Tuesday, against New South Wales whose player Sean Abbott threw the bouncer that caused the"vertebral artery dissection’ leading to the death of the 25 year-old on Thursday His death was received with calls for safer measures in the game which has also cost some lives in the past

In October 2013, South African bowler, Mbulelo Budaza then at 19 throw a ball which hit DARRYN RANDALL in the head, which led to the death of the latter who collapsed immediately and could not be revived by the doctors. He was aged 33.
Before that incident, 5 others had died in action
IAN FOLEY: an English right-hand batsman and left-hand bowler died from from complications of a heart –attack which emanated from a hit in the eye for is club Cumbrian Whitehaven onAugust 1993. He was aged 30
SYED FAAQER ALI: the Indian bowler collapsed on the field after he suffered a heart attack as he was playing a league match for Tracy United Cricket Club as part of the Northern California Cricket Association league in Fremont, CA. he was declared dead fifteen minutes later at Fremont’s Washington Hospital on April 19, 2008. He was aged 34.
WILFRED SLACK:  an English cricketer, he died after collapsing in a game for Cavaliers XI in the Gambia on January 15, 1989. He was aged 34
RAMBA LAMBA: The Indian cricketer was hit in the temple by a ball which had already been hit by his teammate Mehrab Hossain and he was without a helmet on. The ball was hit so hard that once it bounced on his temple, it went straight into the wicketkeeper’s hand.
The incident occurred in the Abahani Krida Chakra in theDhaka Premiere League at the Bangabandhu stadium in Dhaka on February 20, 1998.
Lamba however walked off the field by himself, claiming that he was fine. He later collapsed in the dressing room and was rushed to the hospital where it was revealed that he suffered a haemorrhage; his death is seen as the most tragic. He was 38
WASIM RAJA: Pakistani cricketer, he died at the age of 54 onAugust 23, 2006, playing in a game for over 50’s. He complained of dizziness and was carried off by teammates, but he never recovered as he collapsed on the boundaries.
