The 25-year-old Liverpool player caught the eye after pulling up in his gleaming white Ferrari, conspicuous among the standard convoy of Volvos and Fords that passed him by as he purred to a stop.
Sturridge, a firm favourite with Reds fans and an integral part of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers long-term plans, was hard to miss while venturing into the takeaway for his meal before heading back to his car with a male acquaintance.
