Nicki Minaj will be pulling double-duty at the 2014 MTV EMAs after announcing she'll be the host for the evening. The bootylicious singer is already scheduled to sing at the ceremony but has now revealed that she'll have another role at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on November 9.In a post to her 9.3 million Instagram followers, the excited rapper broke the news. She wrote: "So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year's MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"
The post was accompanied by a picture of the 31-year-old sitting on a throne and dressed like a royal - only with a lot more attitude than we're used to seeing from the likes of Kate Middleton.
It could prove to be a very memorable night indeed for the chart-topper if she's to secure a gong or two.
The American star has been nominated in four categories, including Best Female and Best Hip Hop.
Voting is already open for this year's event which will celebrate its 20th anniversary when it swings around in just over a month's time.
