APPLE IPHONE 6 BREAKS RECORD: GETS OVER 4MILLION PRE-ORDERS IN 24HRS

iPhone6 PlusYep, lots of people tried to order new iPhones as pre-sales began just after midnight on Friday. There were the usual reports of challenges ranging from sites not loading to error messages, with clear indications that plenty of phones were being ordered.

Apple Inc said it received a record four million first-day pre-orders of its new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, meaning many customers will have to wait until October for their new phones.
Apple said a significant number of orders will be delivered to customers beginning Friday, but many will be shipped in October as demand outstrips supply.

That might not sound like much of an improve, but Apple promises that the iPhone 6's CPU and
graphical efficiency are quicker than last year's handset
even while powering a bigger display. The A8 chip can be up to 50 percent extra
power efficient than the A7 and Apple has included a
new technology known as 'Metallic', which is designed to
permit the CPU and GPU to work together to deliver enhanced effects and more detailed graphics than previous iPhone's have been able to, so we're
likely to see even more spectacular games hit the App
Store in future.
