SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: A TOAST TO ''KATE MOSS'' AS SHE MARKS HER 25 YEARS IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Time for a toast: Kate Moss has inspired a champagne coupe based on the shape of her left breast, commissioned to mark her 25 years in the fashion industry
Known as much for her partying as her modelling, Kate Moss has been celebrated in appropriate fashion.
The 40-year-old has inspired a champagne coupe based on the shape of her left breast, commissioned to mark her 25 years in the fashion industry by Richard Caring’s Mayfair restaurant 34.

British sculptor Jane McAdam Freud, daughter of artist Lucian Freud, created the mould for the glass.

The idea comes from the myth that Marie Antoinette’s curves were celebrated in the same way.
‘What an honour to be alongside Marie Antoinette,’ the model gushes.
‘She was a very intriguing and mischievous character.’
Some men are attracted by a woman’s looks, while others are charmed by her personality. Princess Anne’s husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, whom she met during his tour of duty on the Royal Yacht Britannia, was, however, lured by her love of the high seas.

‘For a long time, I put sailing (for pleasure) to one side, but when my seagoing time in the Navy ended, I came back to it,’ says Sir Tim, who owns a £500,000 customised Rustler 44 cruising yacht. ‘It took me a long time to find a wife who loved it as much as I do!’

Elton's regal greeting for Gided Lily
She's richer than the Queen, so it was only right that ‘Gilded’ Lily Safra received a suitably regal greeting when Sir Elton John stepped aboard her yacht in the South of France this week.
The 67-year-old musician, accompanied by his filmmaker partner David Furnish, kissed the hand of the four-times married billionairess, one of Prince Charles’s most generous friends.
Sir Elton then kissed her cheek before returning for another peck of her hand.
All that was missing was a curtsey for the 75-year-old widow of banker Edmond Safra, who perished in a fire at his Monte Carlo penthouse in 1999. His nurse Ted Maher admitted he’d started the fire in the vain hope of winning kudos for saving his boss.
