McCormick, who was accused of raoe of a minor, with her husband A 32-year-old MaryFaith McCormick has been accused of raping an underage boy and sending him sexually explicit text messages and photos.
It was discovered that the two had consensual sex at least twice and their relationships lasted for no fewer then three moths.

The sexual contacts began after the 13-year-old and his friend visited the teacher’s apartment to watch a movie and when the friend left, the boy and the teacher had sex. The affair came to light when a 12-year-old girl friend of the boy found out nude photos of the teacher on hic cellphone and reported the matter to the police.
McCormick a sixth grade language arts teacher at Siloam Springs Middle School in Arkansas
An iPad, two iphones and desktop computer were seized from McCormick’s home for further investigation that revealed explicit photos and text messages. Thereafter she was detained and sent to prison where she spent a night before being released on $50,000 bail. McCormick was suspended from school on full pay, she will again appear in court in September.
Under Arkansas law, ‘consensual’ sex between an adult and an underage minor is considered rape because the minor cannot legally consent.
