Lady Gaga may be a proud American but she's not happy with how her country treats artists and claims people in the US only write about her personality and not her music.
The Applause singer, who appeared braless in a Japan, showing off her nipples in a see-through black top and crazy gothic attire, slammed the US for being "judgy" but praised critics in Japan.
She posted on Twitter today: "In America they only write about my personality, not my music. they are judgy and harrass artists. Japan supports artists."
One concerned fan then tweeted her saying: "I want Gaga to feel free when she comes back to America :(," to which she replied: "I will don't worry, all artists are insecure innately. Sometime I don't want to share myself when I feel judged I get rebellious."
She certainly looked rebellious after leaving her artRAVE: the ARTPOP ball at Roppongi in Tokyo yesterday and heading to Ele nightclub, wearing dark purple lipstick and a leather collar dripping in crucifix chains.
Gaga matched the elaborate neck accessory with a pair of leather hotpants covered in a small silver rings, a white belt, ripped fishnet tights and towering black ankle boots.
It was quite a scary sight and we think someone might have jokingly told Gaga that Japan is celebrating Halloween early, as she pulled some disturbing Hocus Pocus-inspired faces, painted her nose black and sported dramatic dark make-up.
At one point in the night she was also seen wearing a huge wire shell as she performed some kind of strange circus act. It was certainly different.
It's hard to comment on her music really, when there's just so much to say about her costumes!
