A fuming girlfriend drags her sobbing partner off a crowded train by his mobile phone because he wouldn't stop TEXTING.
Startled commuters took pictures of the drama unfolding on board the underground in Beijing, China.
The woman appeared to be cross at her partner for not giving her enough attention - because he was playing on his mobile.
But when he refused to pass the gadget over, the confrontation escalated, he started crying and she dragged him off the train - by his PHONE.
He wouldn't let go of his prized possession no matter how hard she tugged at it so the furious female ended up pulling him halfway across the train station platform
Some have suggested it may have been a PR set up but witness Yuan Fang said: "I even saw one kid burst into tears as the couple were shouting at each other and she was trying to grab the phone off of him.
"She had been walking in front of him and he was going so slowly it looked as if he wasn't going to make it to the carriage door in time.
"She just flipped out and tried to grab the phone off him and when that failed she had been forced to drag him onto the carriage before the doors closed.
"She was shouting a lot and telling him to let go of the phone."
And although the pictures show that it looked pretty violent at the start after the girl lost her cool and tried to grab the phone, it seemed to be more light-hearted by the time she had successfully pulled onto the carriage.
Yuan Fang said she felt it had calmed down by the end, saying: "It did look pretty violent at the start, but I think at the end that they were more playing."
