A phony female officer has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Ondo State Command.
Jemila Suleiman who had been going under the alias, ‘Angela Tonye Omieh’, was initially arrested on the 17 April, dressed in military fatigue, while attempting to get through a military check point in Akure,
Ondo.
While being paraded after her previous arrest, she claimed to have attended the Nigeria Army depot in Zaria, Kaduna, but dropped out after sustaining multiple injuries. After which she was granted bail by a judge on grounds that she had to support family.
Apparently, after getting a reprieve, she was unrepentant as she reportedly purchased another military uniform from the Army depot in Zaria, Kaduna. She was yet again, arrested on Wednesday, 20 August, while trying to pass through the Igbara-Oke military checkpoint in Ifedore Local Government Area, Ondo.When asked why she chose to go back to her pretense of being in the army, she told the journalists present that it was the only way she could make money to cater for her family.
She said, “I had to go back to this again because that is where I see the money to taking care of my family. I travelled around with the uniform to get favor and goods in the country.”
