10 NIGERIANS DIE IN SAUDI ARABIA

No fewer than 10 Nigerian pilgrims who traveled to Saudi Arabia for the Islamic hajj rites have been confirmed dead.The information was given by the Coordinator of the National Hajj Commission in Mecca, Aliyu Tanko, on Monday. According to Mr Tanko, at least 50,000 Nigerian pilgrims have so far arrived Mecca with virtually all them having performed the Umrah rites.

PAKISTANI COUNCIL CONCLUDES THAT WOMEN ARE UN-ISLAMIC

Pakistani Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) claimed at their 192nd meeting that women are un-Islamic adding that their existence contradicted the will of Allah. The local newsportal Pakistan Today reports that the meeting concluded on Thursday, September 25, with the controversial ruling made by CII Chairman Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani who explained that women’s existence in general defied the laws on nature.
