Naomi Campbell has denied claims she got into a physical fight with Cara Delevingne in Paris on Sunday night. It was alleged by the New York Post's Page Six that the two British supermodels were attending the Garage magazine party at nightclub Castel when an altercation broke out after Naomi, 44, reportedly became upset with 22-year-old Cara for dissing their mutual pal Rihanna.
A source told the publication: 'Naomi accused Cara of "disrespecting" Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back. Cara pulled Naomi's weave, but it didn't come off.' However, Naomi has denied the claims on her Twitter page, while her representatives told MailOnline: 'No fight took place between Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne at Paris club Castel.'
Naomi's tweet read: 'Don’t know where this story has come from about @Caradelevingne and I fighting! It is completely untrue, ignore the rumours XN.' MailOnline has contacted Cara's representatives for comment. The report went on to claim a bemused Cara tried to get away from Naomi because she was puzzled by the incident as she has no problems with Rihanna. However, another insider insisted that if they pushed against each other it was simply because the party was packed. The source said: 'We are talking about a very tiny club in Paris with a very busy table - if someone pushes someone, it's because there is no space.
The Fashion For Relief founder soon moved on and continued partying at Up & Down's pop-up Raspoutine, where onlookers said she acted as if nothing had happened. Cara and Naomi have a number of friends in common including Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn. Speaking previously about comparisons between Cara and Kate, Naomi told the Daily Mirror: 'People are just saying that because she is the same height as Kate. But there is only going to be one Kate Moss. Kate is an icon. ''Cara may become an icon: who knows how long she wants to do it for?'
