The Obi family in Warri, Delta State has been torn apart by a case of murder after its patriarch, Sunday was allegedly killed by his own son, Ikechukwu. The trouble was said to have started when Mr. Obi, a former staff of Chevron, was served breakfast on May 23, 2014 but instead of water, he was given acid to drink.

His wife, Dora narrated the incident to Vanguard saying that she suspected the victim’s son of murdering his father so that he can inherit the latter’s wealth. She said: “We woke up that morning; and I made his (husband) breakfast before I left for church. While in church, I received an urgent call from his last son, Ikechukwu, that I should come home, that my husband had been rushed to hospital.”

EX-OCEANIC BANK MANAGER IN JAIL FOR N15M FRAUD

One Efe Egube, a former manager with the defunct Oceanic Bank, is now in jail for allegedly perpetrating a bank fraud totalling a whopping N15million fraud. A Lagos High Court judge, Justice Olutoyin Ipaye, handed the order on Egube when he was dragged before him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC). The 39-year-old Egube who was remanded in the EFCC custody after he was arraigned alongside his firm, Ocean Energy Trading Services Limited, was charged for obtaining money

Diamond who was arrested for stealing frozen food from the Texas branch of Walmart, says she would infect employees of the firm.The New York Daily News reports that Dallas police arrested Diamond Lawrence after she allegedly stole $11 worth of frozen food from a Walmart and then attacked the employee who stopped her.
