Chadian soldiers have reportedly killed 13 Boko Haram members in Borno State. The terrorists launched an attack on Gamboru, a town on the border with Cameroon, but were repelled by the soldiers, Reuters reports. One Chadian soldier was also reportedly killed in the attack, which occurred early on Wednesday, February 11, “We were waiting. The battle didn't last long. They fled,” a military source told Reuters.2,500 Chadian soldiers have been deployed to help in the fight against Boko Haram in Nigeria and Cameroon.
