ARIANA GRANDE SET TO HEADLINE NBA ALL-STAR HALFTIME SHOW IN NEW YORK

Ariana Grande has scored the headlining spot of the NBA's All-Star halftime show. The NBA announced on Thursday the 21-year-old will perform at the February 15 event at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Mariah Carey and Beyonce have done the job in the past. The game will air live on TNT and will see fan favourite basketball players from both the Western and Eastern Conference go head-to-head on the court. Currently, both Lebron James and Stephen Curry are competing for the chance to represent their
conferences. The starters for the all-star showdown will be announced on Thursday night. Ariana has been no stranger to televised performances with recent presentations on The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the American Music Awards, A Very Grammy Christmas, the Bambi Awards and the Country Music Awards. Last year proved to be a breakthrough year for the singer with the release of her sophomore album, My Everything, which included hits Problem and Love Me Harder. Ariana will also be performing for the first time at the 57th Grammy Awards on February 8.  AC/DC, Miranda Lambert, Pharrell Williams and Madonna are also set to perform at the Grammys. The popstrel has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Vocal album.Shortly following the Grammy awards, Ariana will hit the road for an extensive tour that will begin on February 25 at Independence, Missouri.
