A suspected ritualist, forcefully plucked out two eyes of a nine years old cattle-rearer at Badiko ward, in Toro local government area of Bauchi state.
The Bauchi state Police Command Public Relation Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed confirmed the ugly incident to newsmen yesterday, saying that the incident occurred on Sunday around 2;00 pm
According to him, the boy Haruna Dahiru 9 years old male of Baddiko ward of Toro LGA was attacked and two of his eyes were forcefully removed by yet to be identified persons suspected to be ritualists while he was rearing Cattle at Babujaye in Gumau.
He said the scene was visited by Police detectives attached to Gumau Division and victim was rushed to General hospital Toro for treatment.
The Police spokesman said investigation is in progress and all that effort is being put in place by the Police to see that the culprits are brought to book.
